Description: The Carrier-Lift inclined platform lift is a complete accessibility solution for facilities that have limited space and budgets. The lift glides along existing stairs, providing open access to all levels without requiring structural changes. When not in use, the lift folds against the wall, leaving open valuable space. Each rail is custom manufactured to the exact contours of your stairway, whether straight, curved, spiral, or multiple flights. The rack and pinion drive system ensures a smooth, quiet ride. We also offer battery operated systems with "smart charge" batteries which continuously charge, ensuring the lift will always operate, even in the event of a power outage. Standard Features: Operating controls: A user or attendant can operate the lift using a flexible hand-held pendant control. Automatic access ramp: When the lift at its destination, the automatic access ramp folds down so that passengers can exit safely. While the lift is in motion, the ramps are upright to secure the wheelchair. Arms folded up or down: Choose manual or power fold-uparms that rise when the lift stops and lower to ensure the passenger's safety while the lift is moving. For passenger comfort and convenience a grab rail comes standard on every lift. A key lock comes standard to prevent unauthorized access.
Optional Features: Fold-down seat: For passengers without wheelchairs, the Carrier-Lift comes complete with a comfortable, fold-down seat. Optional power fold platform controls on unit. Remote controls for unit and power fold platform.
