1400 Series Limited Application Elevator

A Limited Application Elevator will fit into the space of an average size closet and is adaptable to existing conditions in most locations. The standard car size is 18 sq feet, 3' 6" wide by 5'0" deep, with optional car sizes available.

Rigid frame and car construction provides excellent safety and stability. Computer controlled operation creates a smooth ride. Engineered safety and emergency features with battery backup ensure riders' safety. "Holeless design means no excavation for the hydraulic cylinder needed. Two-speed automatic car doors come standard on each unit. Integrated hoistway doors included. Electromechanical interlocks prevent elevator movement while doors are open and prevent hallway doors from opening while the car is not at a landing. A battery powered safety descent system lowers the car in the event of a power failure to prevent entrapent. Whisper quiet hydraulic drive runs quieter than most home appliances. Motor and operating mechanism is located out of the way on the lower level.
